The Apps Store
There has been a lot of rant about this new iPhone feature so I thought I'd weigh in as well.
OMG, it's AMAZING! This feature transforms the iPhone from a really cool gadget into a riot in your pocket. How's that for a description? (I know, cheesy.) It's been a blast. I've downloaded (mostly free) functions which are extremely useful and (as always with Apple) easy to use. My phone is now a complete Bible (easier to navigate than opening the book itself), game console, radio, flashlight (yup, with strobe), news resource (including up to date videos from all networks), Weather Bug, Yellow Pages (with added functionality including finding your location and giving directions to the business you may be looking for), nutrition information for fast food restaurants (and directions to them, if you still want to go), Spanish lessons (including audio), a "WHERE" function which finds anything you can dream up, (it also finds other iPhone users, if permission is given, say for a family, or friends), and most important, a function which makes the phone a light saber...yes...OB1.
Of course there is more...like special Google functions, etc, but I'm done. Best yet, they can add new ideas as well as update current ones. The apps take little to no room on the units hard drive. Unbelievable.
Apple makes amazing machines.
I think I'll get a Mac as my next computer...happy Charlie?
