The Lake

We spent the day at the lake. I was going to post a funny video I took, but the news of Tim Russert's death makes it feel wrong. That's odd in a way. I didn't know him personally, I just watched him on television....anyhow...Maybe I'll post it another time if I get enough requests...HAHAHA! :-)

Tim Russert

Died suddenly today.
I feel bad for his family and friends.

I'll miss watching him,
he had a lot of class.

Max is armed, and dangerous.

Max is now learning weaponry in martial arts. He just started sword work. Video to follow..here is a picture of his sword.

Luke Turns 70!

Luke has a character on WOW at level 70. This is not it, but it is an awesome character! Mega power, and flying mount. I'll try to get a true picture...the character is cooler than this one, actually.

Jen's big week...

My little girl turned 16 this week, got her driver's license, and left for South America. That's her kind of week! She does not like to "just sit around".
Me, I just keep praying for her safety!

Historic Events...

I've felt something this week. I can't properly describe it. "Pride" is the wrong word. Maybe "wonder", or "honor", or "fresh". What has happened is certainly unprecedented. An African-American has won the nomination for President of the United States. He has a serious chance of winning the general election. I feel like the earth moved, and it has. I did not think I would see this happen in my lifetime.
Of course if Senator Clinton had won, it would have also been of huge historical significance. Discrimination is a shameful thing. Let's hope the events of 2008 have brought us as a country to a new place in that respect.
